Hello Classes,I would like to welcome you to wikispaces. On this site there will much information you will need and use during the course of the year. There will be discussions, you will be required to take part in. There are several goals we will be meeting during the year. A few of them include, the Age of Exploration to present, American and National Government and your own construction of ideas. During this course there will be considerable time spent on homework and study, and a considerable amount of reading and writing. Although, this sounds like your traditional history class, i assure you it is not. I intend to prove to each of you that history is not only exciting, but also something that you cannot live without. During my class periods, you will never find yourself able to sleep from boredom due to the amount of interaction you will have with several different media types. If you have a laptop, cell phone, ipod, mp3 player, pda, kindel, etc. or any other type of electronic device which you believe will help you in your studies during my place, please feel free to bring and use them all. Each of these does have a set of rules, but I am encouraging all of you to become more technologically inclined. I will teach you how to use these devices to your educational advantage as well as being able to have fun. If you know you do not have access to any of these, please let me know and I will try to help you get something for class use. I hope i have intrigued you into wanting to fight for your education; after all this is a history class, let's not repeat it. Class Room Rules:
Treat others as you wanted to be treated.
Do not cheat or plagiarize in my class (either will result in failure of assignment or course).
Do not be disruptive or disrespectful to anyone.
Do not be late to class (door will be locked with no admittance allowed).
Turn in all assignment on time, no late work will be accepted.
If you do not understand something, ask a question.
Food, drinks, gum allowed until advantages taken of situation.
