Presentation about a historical site visited (100 points)
Small Group Digital Reenactment of famous battle (150 points)
Large Group Debate about political aspects of government (75 points)
Digital Storyboard on favorite time period in history (50 points)
Photograph Portfolio of life story (50 points)
Current Event Research Portfolio (50 points)
As the year progresses quickly, we will have four unit tests, the U.S. Constitution test, the Missouri Constitution test, and a final exam.
Test # 1 - Chapters 1 - 4 (200 points) Test # 2 - Chapters 5 - 8 (200 points) Test # 3 - U.S. Constitution (Pass/Fail) Test # 4 - Chapters 9 - 12 (200 points) Test # 5 - Missouri Constitution (Pass/Fail) Test # 6 - Chapters 13 - 16 (200 points) Final Exam - Maybe Comprehensive (200 points)
You will also have eight quizzes (one after every two chapters) worth 20 points each. If classroom participation is low, pop quizzes will be given.
